Halloween Costume Time! We specialize in fashion fabric, but I try to buy things that have multiple uses. Hopefully, some of these fabrics can inspire you to create something cute for you, your kids or your four-legged kids.

Pirate: Try these cool red and white stripes. Make some pirate accessories, like a booty bag (is that rated PG?) or a flag from our skull and crossbones printed fabric.

Fairy: Glissenet is a necessity for a fairy costume. You can easily stretch it over wire for the wings and drape it for a skirt. It looks really pretty when you drape multiple colors together. If you need help coordinating the colors, please feel free to ask. This would also work well for a princess or Glinda the Good Witch costume.

Witch: There are lots of options in the shop for a witch costume. You can use black glissenet and also the black gothic script would make a great witchy cape.

Biker: There are many sewing patterns out there for dogs, so you can buy one of these basic patterns and make your dog a biker outfit out of black fake leather and orange flames. Embellish with some pleather trims and trims with studs. If you don't have time to start from scratch, just buy a basic dog or kids' t-shirt off the shelf and embellish it.

70's / hippie: Make some bell-bottoms out of this or one of the other available groovy stretch cords.

Pumpkin: We have some solid orange spandex fabric that is the exact color of a pumpkin. I think it would be cool to attach some to foam and make a really plump pumpkin instead of the usual saggy plastic bag-type pumpkin costumes. If you need a lot of fabric, please e-mail me and I will be glad to give you a discount.

Black Cat: The traditional black kitty fabric is not complete without some black stretch velvet. Please don't dress up your dog like a black cat. That would be cruel.

Dinosaur or Dragon: Try one of our realistic-looking snakeskin prints.

Finally, if you need a flesh-tone or black lining to go underneath any of these wonderful costumes, we have these in our Linings section.

Of course, I would love to see photos of your creations and if you give permission, to use them on the website.
